What is hyperdilute
Radiesse?

Hyperdilute Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite mixed with additional fluid so it can spread across a broader area. This preparation encourages collagen production where skin has become thinner, with gradual changes in firmness and texture.

We offer it as a biostimulator alternative to Bellafill when skin quality is the priority and a permanent filler is not your preference. Subtle facial fullness may improve as tissue support develops. For more defined cheek, chin, and jawline contouring, explore Radiesse facial balancing.

Our providers assess the face, neck, décolleté, and areas above the knees, along with other appropriate areas of thinning skin. Skin changes following weight loss are covered in our hyperdilute Radiesse guide. We explain which uses are off-label and whether the expected improvement fits your goal.

A broader plan can also include ResurFX skin resurfacing or CoolPeel CO2 when surface texture needs attention. Your provider plans the order and healing interval; combined treatment is assessed individually.

We assess each area before recommending treatment and review progress as collagen changes develop.

Discuss gradual collagen support, skin quality, and subtle fullness alongside any need for deeper facial contouring.

Assess crepey texture and fine lines. Décolleté wrinkle treatment has a specific FDA-approved dilution; neck use is off-label.

Thinning skin above the knees or on other body areas may be considered after assessment. Evidence and suitability vary by area.

Compare biostimulation, filler, and resurfacing, with treatment timing and recovery planned by your provider.

Give thinning skin more support.

Hyperdilute treatment is suited to selected skin-quality concerns. It does not replace surgery for substantial laxity, and results vary with your skin and treatment area.

Your skin feels thin or crepey

You want to discuss collagen stimulation for the face, neck, chest, or an appropriate body area.

You prefer an absorbable biostimulator

You are comparing Radiesse with Bellafill and want to understand the different materials and commitments.

Your skin has changed after weight loss

A consultation can distinguish thinning skin from volume loss that needs a separate treatment.

You are planning laser treatments

We can assess whether resurfacing and biostimulation belong in the same plan and how to space them.

We assess thinning skin on the face, neck, décolleté, and selected body areas, including above the knees. Radiesse diluted 1:2 with sterile saline is FDA-approved for décolleté wrinkles in adults 22 and older. Facial skin-quality treatment, neck treatment, knees, and other body applications are off-label. Suitability depends on the area, your skin, and your medical history; it is not appropriate everywhere skin is thin.

Diluted CaHA can support subtle facial fullness and smoother transitions, depending on the preparation and placement. With hyperdilution, the emphasis shifts toward collagen stimulation and gradual improvement in skin quality. Early fullness may include fluid and swelling. More defined cheek, chin, or jawline projection may need standard Radiesse or another filler.

It can be an alternative when the goal is broader collagen stimulation and improvement in thinning skin. Radiesse is gradually absorbed, while Bellafill leaves permanent PMMA microspheres. They are not interchangeable: Bellafill has specific uses for smile lines and suitable cheek acne scars, while hyperdilute Radiesse targets skin quality. Neither can be dissolved with hyaluronidase like an HA filler.

A comprehensive plan may include hyperdilute Radiesse and laser resurfacing for different aspects of skin quality. Your provider chooses the device, treatment order, and spacing after assessing your skin. Radiesse labeling states that safety with concomitant laser and other dermal therapies has not been established, and treatment over an active healing response can cause inflammation. This is not an automatic same-day combination.

Changes develop over weeks to months as your skin responds. The number of sessions and maintenance depend on the area and your starting skin quality. We review progress before recommending further treatment. Significant excess skin or deep volume loss may need another approach.

Bruising, swelling, tenderness, lumps, infection, and delayed inflammation are possible. Rare blood-vessel complications can cause tissue injury, blindness, or stroke; vision changes, unusual pain, blanching, or stroke symptoms need urgent care. Tell us about allergies, bleeding disorders, medications, and previous fillers. Active skin infection delays treatment, and safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unestablished. Chest assessment includes breast cancer or family history, radiation, and implants; injections must not overlie breast tissue.
