Plasma Pen

The Plaxel pen tightens the delicate zones surgery used to own: hooded lids, crepey under-eyes, and fine lines around the lips.

Curious about
the plasma pen?

What is a
plasma pen?

The plasma pen is the miniaturist of our laser suite. Where lasers treat areas, the Plaxel treats millimeters, one precise point at a time.

Hovering just above the skin, the pen ionizes the air into a micro-arc of plasma. Each arc creates a tiny controlled point that causes the surrounding skin to contract immediately and continue tightening as fibroblasts rebuild collagen beneath — a real tissue change that typically holds for years.

That precision is why it excels exactly where broader devices hesitate: eyelids, under-eyes, and the fine vertical lines around the lips.

Eyelid work demands medical training and a steady hand. Ours have both, and the judgment to tell you honestly when surgery is the better answer.

Mild to moderate hooding tightens without incisions, anesthesia, or an operating room.

Point-by-point placement treats zones too delicate for broader energy devices.

Skin contracts on contact, then keeps firming for weeks as collagen rebuilds.

True tissue contraction typically maintains its result for two to three years or more.

When the concern is measured in millimeters, the tool should be too.

The plasma pen is a specialist, not a generalist. It earns the recommendation for small, delicate zones where its precision beats every broader device we own.

Hooded Lids, Shy of Surgery

Mild to moderate hooding tightens meaningfully without a blepharoplasty.

Crepey Under-Eyes

The thin skin below the eyes contracts and smooths where fillers often just add weight.

Lip Lines from Years of Living

The fine vertical lines above the lip respond point by precise point.

A Week of Dots Is Workable

Healing is visible but brief. If your calendar allows the week, the years of result follow.

Surgery’s territory,
approached gently.

Precision work,
lasting years.

Those are the carbon crusts that form at each precisely placed plasma point. They are part of normal healing, protect the skin beneath, and flake off on their own within about a week. Picking them is the one rule you cannot break.

For mild to moderate hooding, yes. As each treated point heals, the surrounding skin contracts and tightens. It will not replicate a surgical blepharoplasty for severe cases, and we will tell you honestly which side of that line you fall on.

Plan on visible dots and swelling for five to seven days, particularly around the eyes, then residual pinkness that makeup covers. Full skin tone evens out over the following weeks.

The contraction is real tissue change, so results typically hold for two to three years or more. Aging continues on its own schedule, but the treated skin stays ahead of where it would have been.

Mild laxity often resolves in a single session. Deeper hooding or crepiness may benefit from a second pass eight to twelve weeks later. Your provider maps this expectation before you book, not after.
