Kybella®

An injectable that permanently dissolves the fat beneath your chin — sharpening your profile without surgery, scars, or anesthesia.

Profile of a woman showing a defined jawline and neck

Curious about
Kybella?

What is
Kybella?

Kybella® is synthetic deoxycholic acid — a molecule your digestive system already uses to break down fat — refined into a precise injectable for the fullness under the chin.

Placed in a grid of small injections, it dissolves fat cells where diet and exercise rarely reach. Your body clears them naturally over the following weeks, and the profile line sharpens as it does.

Because the destroyed cells never regenerate, the result is permanent — a rarity in non-surgical aesthetics — and most plans get there in two to four sessions.

Chin contouring is geometry, and our board-certified nurse practitioners treat it that way — mapping your anatomy first, then dosing session by session toward the profile you're after.

Destroyed fat cells are cleared by your body and never grow back.

A series of fine injections replaces the incisions, anesthesia, and recovery of liposuction.

The jaw-to-neck line defines progressively with each session — visible from every angle.

Each session takes about 20 minutes; most plans need two to four, a month apart.

When the chin in photos isn’t the one you own, Kybella redraws the line.

Submental fullness is mostly genetics, not habits — no amount of gym time spot-treats it. The consult sorts out what's fat, what's skin, and what plan actually fixes yours.

A Double Chin at Any Weight

Fullness that persists whether you're up ten pounds or down ten is anatomically stubborn fat.

You Angle Every Photo

If your chin decides the camera angle, treating the cause beats managing the geometry.

Surgery Is Off the Table

Kybella delivers real contouring without anesthesia, incisions, or surgical recovery.

You Can Absorb the Swell Week

Results are permanent, but the first days swell — good planning makes it painless.

Not about
losing weight.

About finding
your jawline.

Yes. Kybella destroys the fat cells themselves, and once a fat cell is gone your body doesn't grow a replacement. Significant weight gain can enlarge remaining cells, but the treated ones never come back.

Most patients need two to four sessions spaced about a month apart, depending on how much submental fullness we're treating. Your provider will map the plan — and the total cost — before the first vial is opened.

Honest answer: noticeable. The treated area swells for several days to a week as the fat dissolves — it's the treatment working, but plan around video calls and photos for the first few days.

Liposuction is surgical, with anesthesia and recovery; Kybella needs only a series of quick injections. Against freezing-based treatments, Kybella's advantage is precision in the small, curved area under the chin.

Kybella treats a stubborn pocket, not overall weight — many fit patients carry submental fullness for purely genetic reasons. The consult determines whether fat, skin laxity, or both are shaping your profile, and whether Kybella is the right tool.
