Different peptides target different goals: growth-hormone-releasing peptides for recovery and body composition, GLP-1 peptides for weight, and others for libido or skin. Some are well established; others sit in a regulatory gray area and require careful medical guidance.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules, telling the body to do specific things. "Peptide therapy" is a broad umbrella, and matching the peptide to the goal is the whole point of a proper consultation.
For recovery, body composition, and anti-aging, growth-hormone-releasing peptides such as sermorelin and combinations like ipamorelin with CJC-1295 prompt the body's own growth hormone production, which supporters associate with better sleep, recovery, and lean-mass support.
For weight, the GLP-1 class of peptides is the same mechanism discussed under weight-loss injections, reducing appetite and improving satiety.
For other targets, certain peptides are used for libido and others are marketed for tissue repair, though the repair-focused ones in particular have limited human data and uncertain regulatory standing.
The honest and essential caveat: peptides vary enormously in evidence and legal status. Some are prescribed and monitored responsibly; others are sold with claims that outrun the science and fall into gray or unapproved territory. This is a category where medical supervision, legitimate sourcing, and candid discussion of what is proven versus speculative genuinely matter. Every peptide protocol here is prescribed and overseen by our medical provider.
